This 11-12 hour tour starts by visiting Khor Virap monastery, the closest point to the Biblical mount Ararat on the territory of Armenia. It is a great place for embracing the most picturesque views of the mountain. Then visit the monastery complex Noravank, which is unique in its construction as the Church of Holy Mother of God is the only two-storied monastery in Armenia. Jermuk is another stop and is a resort city surrounded by wonderful nature. It is well-known due to its Gallery of Mineral Water where one can taste spring water with different temperatures and very nice waterfall. Finally, see Areni, one of the oldest settlements in Armenia and today is famous for its wines. It was here grapes were found that were 6000 years old.
