This three-hour walking tour will take you through the heart of the old city of Florence. During this visit you will walk through what used to be the old fortified Roman city, passing by the Cathedral, Baptistery and Giotto's bell tower, as well as Piazza della Repubblica, where the old market used to be. The tour takes us to some of the places associated with the poet Dante and with the Medici. We visit Piazza della Signoria, where Palazzo Vecchio is, the Piazzale degli Uffizi, home of the world-famous Galleria degli Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio and we finish at Piazza Pitti, where the Medici bought and enlarged Palazzo Pitti.
Alternatively we can see Santa Croce instead of Palazzo Pitti.
The visit can be tailored to fit your needs and it is not necessarily to visit all the places named above.
No museum of church entries are included.
