Guided Private Wine Tour with Tasting and Lunch

Discover a vineyard of Montevideo's wine region on this 4-hour private tour with a professional guide. You will discover the history of a local family and the different challenges that every generation faced from cultivating the earliest vineyards at the beginning of the last century until the present. You will also learn about Uruguayan wine from grape to glass. You will meet your driver by the Montevideo Cruise Port or at your hotel at a time that’s tailored to your schedule. You will enjoy the nature in the vineyards and learn about the way that local artisans make their wines. Then, you will sample five select wines, including an award-winning red wine made from Tannat grapes — one of the most prominent grape varieties used in Uruguayan wine.
