You will also learn about Uruguayan wine from grape to glass. You will meet your driver by the Montevideo Cruise Port or at your hotel at a time that’s tailored to your schedule. You will enjoy the nature in the vineyards and learn about the way that local artisans make their wines. Then, you will sample five select wines, including an award-winning red wine made from Tannat grapes — one of the most prominent grape varieties used in Uruguayan wine. You will also learn about the winemaking process and take tips on appreciating different varietals while you enjoy the wine tasting. Finally, you will enjoy a traditional Uruguayan lunch: Canelones or stuffed pasta, and dessert.
