Half Day Xian Private Tour: Bell & Drum Tower Square, City Wall, Muslim Quarter

This half day Xi’an city sightseeing tour will last 4-5 hours. The pickup/drop off time is flexible to your schedule. With this tour you will enter City Wall from the South Gate, the most significant and best preserved gate of Xi’an City Wall. Then you will  take a walk in the Bell & Drum Tower Square from where you will have an outer look of the towers. And your last stop is the famous food street – Muslim Quarter. This is an ideal choice for tourists who would like to have an in-depth look of these places.

Stop At: Xi'an City Wall (Chengqiang), Zhongxin District, Xi'an 710001 China

Please advise your preferred hotel pickup time when booking the tour. On the touring day our guide and driver will meet you in your hotel lobby.

After hotel pickup, you will firstly pay a visit to City Wall. The 600 years old Xi’an City Wall was built in the Ming Dynasty. In the cold weapon ages, City Wall was the crucial military defensive system that protected people in the city. You will enter the City Wall from South Gate. Among all the existed gates of city wall, South Gate is the one that remains the original looking best- the suspension bridge, suspension bridge handling tower, enceinte of the gate, etc. The City Wall stretches 13+km. If you want to cover more part of the city wall in limited time, battery cart and bike riding on the wall top is available and optional.

Stop At: Drum Tower Square, Beiyuanmen Snacks Street, Xi'an 710000 China

Going down from the City Wall you will take a walk on the Bell & Drum Tower Square and from where you could pay an outer visit of the two towers. The two towers were also built in the Ming Dynasty and the Drum Tower is 4 years older than the Bell Tower.

Stop At: Muslim Quarter, West of Bell Drum Towers Square , Beilin District, Xi'an 710000 China

At last you will visit the colorful Muslim Quarter. In this food street, you will meet lots of local food and snacks, as well as some little souvenirs. If you are interested in local food, it is a good place to satisfy your stomach.

After the visit, you will be transferred back to your hotel or appointed place in downtown Xi’an.
