On this day hiking trip from Barcelona, we will bring you to discover Vall de Núria.
To access Vall de Nuria we will take the Rack Railway, a route of great beauty of 12.5 km ascending more than 1000 meters that will bring us to the Starting point of our hike.
Núria sanctuary lies at the bottom of the valley, surrounded by many mountain peaks of arround 2800 meters of altitude forming a mountain cirque known as "l'Olla de Núria".
We will start our hike from the Sanctuary and will explore the valley on a route that will, bring a unique scenery that will leave us fascinated.
During the hike we will learn about the distinctive flora and fauna of the area and if we are lucky we might see some wild animals on their natural habitat. We will also learn some of Nuria's legends and its religious and cultural significance. On the way we will take some breaks to catch our breath, enjoy the breathtaking views and will eat a delicious Catalan typical sandwich.
