Quininí Forest Bird Reserve

Pay a visit to one of the most iconic and beautiful cloud forests near Bogotá, home to +300 species of birds including colorful tanagers, powerful hummingbirds and staggering toucanets. Your guide will help you learn to identify and distinguish between the different species while observing the feeders and walking along the nature trails. A traditional coffee tour can be added on to this itinerary for an additional cost.

With over 200 recorded species, this forest reserve and adjacent shade-grown coffee plantations offer abundant birdlife that is easy to spot with the naked eye, making it a prime site for birding & nature photography. We will spend time birdwatching along the roadside, at feeders on the coffee farms and along trails through the lower forest reserve.
