The park is located in the Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan, which is about 80 miles from Jaipur. This park was once the former hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur. Today, the Ranthambore National Park is a wildlife sanctuary for many animals including leopards and the famous Bengal tigers. Your game drives will give you a great first hand experience of this natural sanctuary.

Day 1 - Jaipur / Ranthambore

This morning, you will be picked up at your hotel in Jaipur and driven to Ranthambore. Upon arrival, check into your hotel for two nights. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in Ranthambore National Park. Among the many wonderful sights in the park, you will also see the remains of a thousand year old fortress which now serves as a wildlife sanctuary for leopards and tigers.

Day 2 - Ranthambhore Game Drive ( Morning & Afternoon )

Ranthambhore is one of the few preserves where the nocturnal camera-shy tigers may be seen in daylight. Almost hunted to extinction by the local royalty and their British overlords, the population of Bengal tigers is slowly increasing, the result of the efforts of “Project Tiger” and the World Wildlife Fund. You’ll enjoy thrilling game drives in the morning and evening to look for wildlife.

Day 3 - Ranthambhore Morning Game Drive / Jaipur

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and you will be driven back to Jaipur by private vehicle.(B)
