Roman Mosaic Workshop

Your afternoon will be well spent learning the ancient art of mosaic-making. Following an introductory lesson about the techniques of Roman mosaics; you will practise the principles of texture, composition, marble tile cutting and, to make your own piece of mosaic to take home. We are looking forward meeting you here at 2pm.

Do you want to discover something new about Italian art? We look forward to welcoming you at our historically important mosaic studio. We will spend a couple of hours together finding out more about ancient Roman mosaics.

For over one hundred years mosaic-making has been our family occupation. Throughout the years, our Studio has shown an absolute mastery of different mosaic techniques; combining the old with present-day tradition.

During this interactive workshop you will explore the techniques of Roman mosaic. The workshop will cover history, the principles of texture, composition, marble tile cutting; all with the use of traditional tools.

A professional master mosaicist will guide you throughout, to ensure the best results. They will by share their insight about this ancient art, including tips on the best techniques to use. Once finished, you will take your original mosaic home in professional packaging.
