It is part of Table Mountain National Park and support a high diversity of endemic flora. The routes is mostly along non technical well-trodden hiking trails with exceptional views of Cape Town, Table Mountain and Lion's Head. With little positive gradient and a maximum running distance of 10 to 12 kilometers it is a very friendly trail run.
