Major Bay
A diamond of a Beach, Majors is located closest to the south east peninsula next to the Sea Bridge Ferry that take passengers to sister island Nevis daily. This beach is known for its narrow stretch of golden sand with warm blue water that always calm. A number of beach bars and other amenities.

Stop At: South Friars Beach, St. Kitts
This South East Beach has local Kittitians enjoying the variety restaurants and bars mostly known as ram shack. Tourist love this beach because of the eastern Caribbean's most elegant beach restaurants Carambola, where you can take a break from swimming to nibble on freshly made local sushi. The North side of Friar's Beach is a No Swimming zone; because of the treacherous Atlantic Ocean even in the shallow areas. Resist the Temptation:

Frigate Bay North it off the main road and mostly secluded even on local holidays and tourist seasons. This is where you can have some romantic alone time for a picnic. There is a long reef for exploring or the lengthy stretch of beach north of the Marriott that's kept in immaculate condition for sun bathing and swimming.

Cockleshell
A small but diverse beach, a gorgeous stretch of powdery white sand make for an excellent sea bathing from end to end. Cockleshell the most popular of beaches around the tip of the south-east peninsula. It's a magnet for locals out to party on weekends and public holidays. A favorite destination for cruise-ship tourists, which means the scene can get decidedly lively. But you can have the beach pretty much to yourself on weekdays in the quiet summer season

Stop At: Banana Bay, St Kitts & Nevis
Banana Beach just next door to Cockleshell, offers fine white sand equally good for sun bathing, the lack of facilities of any sort means it's rarely as busy as its neighboring beach Cockleshell. Banana Beach is very much St Kitts the way it used to be. An ideal choice for a quiet time to catch up on reading, beach picnic, laid back lazy day, or soak up some sweet St Kitts sun.

Stop At: Turtle Beach, Turtle Beach, St. Kitts, St. Kitts and Nevis
Turtle beach, a lovely stretch of sand on the south-east peninsula, located at the end of a dirt road just off the highway that leads to Cockleshell and Banana Bay. Swimming is excellent, bonus snorkeling is allow. See the smorgasbord of dazzling fish swimming around the coral reef that protects Turtle beach from the Atlantic waves. Bring your snorkeling gear because you'll would definitely want to swim the reefs.

Stop At: Sand Bank Bay, Basseterre St. Kitts
Sand Bank one of the eastern Caribbean's loveliest beaches, Sand Bank is also off the beaten track. The cliffs that tower at either end of the beach keep the Atlantic waves down to manageable proportions – they're usually big enough to be fun without being a threat. Like most of St Kitts' best white-sand beaches, Sand Bank is on the island's south-east peninsula, a little more than a kilometer from the end of the highway that extends to the tip of that rugged, narrow stretch of land.
