You will be picked up from your hotel in Agra in the morning after your delicious breakfast for your Jaipur private day tours. Our drive to Jaipur will give you a chance to waltz through Fatehpur Sikri at first. Fatehpur Sikri comes en route Jaipur, approximately 40 KMS away from Agra.

Fatehpur Sikri is an UNESCO world heritage site. Named after the Sufi saint, Fatehpur Sikri was built by Akbar the great and it was his kingdom for thirteen years. Fatehpur Sikri is also known as “the abandoned city” or “the ghost city”. The city was abandoned due to water crisis faced by the Mughal kingdom. The uncanny surroundings might remind you of a gothic story. You will visit Buland Darwaza or victory gate, a place of veneration for the local people. We will make progress in our Agra- Jaipur one day tour by going to Jaipur.

The Amber fort complex is located on the ridges of folded mountain range; Aravalli. Surrounded by forested and tree laden hills, the Amber Fort holds the incongruity between its severe exterior and serene interior. The fort overlooks Maota Lake in the front. There are graven images of precious stones and mirrors inside the Amber fort. The palace is centuries old and has a heroic past. The best part of Amer Fort is Sheesh Mahal, translated as Glass Palace, made of Belgium Glasses. The inside view of Glass palace will remind you the Persian Palaces. Sheesh Mahal was used as winter palace by Royal family. Later, we will go to Hawa Mahal.

Hawa Mahal was built by Maharaja SawaiPratap Singh, who was a devotee of Lord Krishna. Hawa Mahal has 953 latticed windows called Jharokhas, built like the Crown of Lord Krishna. The Jharokhas were made for the royal ladies to watch the royal procession. The Rajput ladies were not allowed to show their faces in the public. Built on the Venturi principle, the contruction allows passes of cool air inside, making the five floors. Hawa Mahal can be seen an architectural wonder. Later, we will drive past Jal Mahal on our way back to Agra.

You Agra-Jaipur one day tour will come to an end now. Before that we will drive past JalMahal. JalMahal is an architectural undertaking of the Rajputana king. The JalMahal is located on the Man Sarovar Lake, dazzles the backdrop of Aravalli with its beauty. It seems as if the JalMahal is having a fling with water. Here we will have photo stop, then we will drive you back to your hotel in Agra. On arrival in Agra, we will drop you at the hotel.
