You will be escorted from your hotel in Jaipur in an air-conditioned vehicle and driven to Samode.  It is located 26 miles Northwest of Jaipur.

Samode Palace is one of the charming and romantic edifices in Rajasthan. It was originally built in the 16th century as a Rajput fort and then renovated into a palace in the 19th century. It is a complete architectural marvel. The walls of the palace are beautifully painted with the designs of birds, animals and flowers. The dining room with its stained glass windows, the durbar with its painted ceilings along with the marvelous chandeliers and intricately carved walls give the Palace its ethnic charm. It has now been converted into a heritage hotel.  On a hill immediately above the palace you can see the Samode Fort. It was the family's former residence and accessible in times of trouble by an underground passageway from the Palace.

Enjoy a camel cart ride through Samode town.   It is a unique way to explore the town and enjoy its colors and customs.
