Santa Barbara Vineyard to Table Taste Tour by Bike

Cycle through the vineyards and quaint towns of the Santa Ynez Valley, Santa Barbara's world class wine growing region.  Your single-day tour is fully supported, with round trip transport from Santa Barbara in a brand new 2018 high top shuttle van, an expert guide, Specialized hybrid bikes, included wine tastings, olive oil tasting, Italian-inspired gourmet picnic lunch, and souvenir water bottle.  Experience the beauty of this region at the perfect pace, feeling the breeze on the bike, with frequent stops to learn about the vineyards, drop in on the friendly towns, and visit with the fun animals along the way.  Three distance options are offered to ensure your comfort.  When the riding is done, the fun is just beginning as you are rewarded with outstanding local wine tastings, olive oil tastings, and a fresh and thoughtfully prepared picnic lunch at a gorgeous winery.

Depart your Santa Barbara pick up location at 9am in the comfort of a brand new air-conditioned high top shuttle van for a scenic drive over San Marcos Pass and into Santa Ynez Valley, Santa Barbara's gorgeous wine country.  Upon arrival, get fitted to your Specialized comfort hybrid bike and begin your guided tour of the region.  The ride will take your past a Lavender Farm, beautiful ranches, small private vineyards, and gorgeous sprawling estate vineyards.  Get a chance to trek through the local towns and experience a quaint Danish village. We have three versions of our riding course to ensure the right amount of comfort or challenge to suit your desire.

At the conclusion of the ride in the noon hour, experience the fruit of the vineyards you just passed in the glass at an award winning tasting room in Los Olivos.  Expect to be treated like a VIP when you arrive and enjoy learning about wine from your guide and the friendly tasting room staff.

Afterward, whet your appetite before lunch with a tasting of local olive oils and balsamic at a charming olive farm.  From there, stroll the grounds of and established and lovely estate winery where another tasting and thoughtfully prepared and presented gourmet picnic lunch await you.  The fresh locally sourced ingredients are just the thing to both pair with your wine and re-invigorate you after your active tour.

The estate winery experience concludes early in the 3 o'clock hour and you are brought back to Santa Barbara in the comfort of the van by about 4pm, recharged and ready for an evening in our fair city.
