Tour the colonial zone of Santo Domingo.
Visit the oldest city in the New World and the first permanent settlement of Christopher Columbus. Declared a World Heritage Site in 1992 by UNESCO, Santo Domingo has a large number of places erected for the first time, such as the first cathedral, the first paved road, the first university, the first hospital, the first stone house, the first tavern, etc.
Get to know the Pantheon of the Homeland. Our next stop Plaza de España, where the Alcázar de Colón is located, the former residence of the Admiral, we will also find the Museum of the Royal Houses. After visiting the museum we will pause to enjoy lunch. In the afternoon we will continue the tour we will visit important buildings of the Dominican capital, such as the Palace of Fine Arts, the National Theater or the Presidential Palace. We will finish the route on the banks of the Ozama River to visit the Colón Lighthouse.
