The tour around the island starts right away on a luxury, air-conditioned coach, under the continual guidance of our expert guides/Sommeliers. During this tour you will visit three Family Estate wineries, each of them with unique island architecture. You will taste 12 to 15 different types & styles of wines and our Sommelier will provide you with all the knowledge and expertise you need, on a series of local white & red varieties. He will initiate you into the magical, artistic process from grapes to the bottle and even stop on a vineyard to see the unique cultivation technique of “kouloura” and the specificity of the soil and microclimate. It will be a journey among the paths of the ancient vineyards, the simplicity of the traditional family wineries, the modern winemaking techniques and the awaking of the senses by tasting the finest Theraic wines, viewing the unique scenery of the island. On the way back to your hotel you will have the opportunity to see also the agricultural area of the island and return having a memorable experience.
