Simon’s Town Penguin Paddle

This trip gives you a different view of Cape Town from the water. There's a good chance of viewing marine life such as penguins, dolphins and whales (in season). In summer, the water is warm enough to swim.

Itinerary

Your guide will meet you and equip you with PFDs (personal flotation devices), He or she will also chat to you about your experience and fitness levels and will give you a safety briefing and some paddling instruction. From there, you'll head out through the small waves and into the bay. Depending on the weather and ocean conditions, your route will include the Simon's Town Harbour, Boulders Beach and its famous penguins and a stop at Windmill Beach. You'll do a loop, finoshing back at Long Beach about 2 - 2.5 hours later.
