With pickup from your Shanghai downtown hotel lobby at 9:00 pm, aboard the air-conditioned vehicle to start the Shanghai private day tour.

You will firstly drive around 1 hour to visit the Zhujiajiao Water Town. Endowed with another elegant name - 'Pearl Stream' - Zhujiajiao is the best-preserved among the four ancient towns in Shanghai, the little fan-shaped town glimmers like a bright pearl in the landscape of lakes and mountains. Stroll around the unique old bridges, well-structured courtyards and calm rivers to feel the antiquity, leisure and tranquility of this ancient town. Boat riding along the river is available at your own expense.

Later enjoy lunch in a local nice restaurant and continue to visit the Jade Buddha Temple, one of the most famous Buddhist shrines in the city. The two precious jade Buddhist statues are not only rare cultural relics but also porcelain artworks. Both the Sitting Buddha and the Recumbent Buddha are carved with whole white jade. Later stroll around the old Cultural Street Tianzifang to see the old Shanghai shikumen buildings experience local lifestyle.

Afterwards, the guide will transfer you back and drop you off at the hotel to conclude the trip.
