Shymkent is located on the crossroad of the Great Silk Road. In spite of being a modern city, with industrial infrastructure, Shymkent along with cities of Otrar, Turkestan, Syganak and Sauran remains as a historical and cultural center on the South Kazakhstan region with a high potential for tourism development.

Our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel in Shymkent. During sightseeing you will visit the History Museum, Memory Alley in Shanshi park, the Museum of Political Repression Victims, Abai Museum and Ethnography Museum. After your short trip which covers long time in history, from ancient times to the recent history, you will be transferred back to the hotel.
