Snowshoeing on Trebevic Mountain from Sarajevo

Strap on a pair of snowshoes and get ready to see some of the best views of Sarajevo from the top of Trebevic Mountain on this 5-hour guided tour from the Bosnian capital. This tour is run with a maximum of 15 people so that you can enjoy personalized attention from your guide, and includes all equipment, lunch, snacks, and hot beverages.

Begin your day with a 9am pickup from a prearranged meeting point in Sarajevo. Meet your guide, board the vehicle, and take the back road to Jahorina via Vraca to Brus, where you begin the 1,640-foot (500-meter) ascent to the peak of Trebević.

This walk takes you along a long and winding mountain trail. Although you are walking most of the way through pine and spruce covered forests, you are occasionally treated to views of the Romanija and Bukovik mountains.

Upon arrival at the top, if the weather permits, stand at the center of a white universe and see Sarajevo, all immediate surrounding towns and villages, as well as the mountains of Bukovik, Ozren, Crepoljsko, Romanija, Ravna planina, Jahorina, Maglić, Bioč, and more.

After soaking the sights, descend via an alternative steeper but shorter trail. Your tour concludes with a drop-off back in Sarajevo.
