Sofia Graffiti Tour

Sofia Graffiti Tour was born out of a love for graffiti and street art, with the mission to take visitors of the capital off-the-beaten track, to experience the alternative atmosphere of Sofia, layered with stories and urban art.

The initiative started over 3 years ago and we are the first to organize tours dedicated to the Sofia’s street art and graffiti scene. Since then we have taken thousands of travelers to the hidden corners of the city to explore together the urban art, its stories and dive into the graffiti subculture.

By participating in the tour, you are also supporting the local graffiti, street and urban art scene of Sofia. Parts of our contributions are going directly to the events that we organize – Exhibitions and Workshops, annual Sofia Graffiti Battle festival and local initiative, improving the urban space.

Itinerary

Stop At: Sofia Graffiti Tour, 1000 Sofia Center, Sofia, Bulgaria

We will gather at Statue of Sofia, where we will start our journey through the history of this subculture – globally but also what are the cultural roots of Bulgaria’s graffiti scene.

While exploring the artsy and a bit hidden central part of Sofia, you will learn about the styles of graffiti, where is the difference to street art and who are the most influential arists on the streets. During the walk you will have a chance to feel the unique vibe of Sofia while trying to escape from the big boulevards.

Along the way we will see graffiti walls, murals, street art, created by Bulgarian and International artists and learn about the process and stories behind each piece. Who knows, we might even get lucky and catch an artist at work..... or you will start your street art career.
