Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to South Luangwa, Zambia

Stop At: South Luangwa National Park, Mpika Zambia
Pick up from the airport in Mfuwe, South Luangwa and transfer to your lodge by the river of Luangwa (CrockValley Lodge). Depends on the time of your arrival you can have an evening game drive. The best way to get to South Luangwa is by flight from Lusaka (air tickets not included).

Day 2: Morning game drive

Stop At: South Luangwa National Park, Mpika Zambia
At 5:30am you will have small breakfast at your lodge and at 6am you'll start morning game drive (safari) inside of South Luangwa National Park. Here you will have an opportunity to meet wild animals; lions, giraffe, leopards, elephants, baboons, hyaenas and others. Return to your lodge for 11:30am for brunch. Relax by the swimming pool, enjoy the nature by the lodge and at 4pm we will start evening safari game drive. Return to the lodge at 8pm and enjoy your dinner before bed. Overnight at Crock Valley Lodge.

Day 3: Cultural Village and School visit

Stop At: South Luangwa National Park, Mpika Zambia
After breakfast at 9am you'll be taken to the local village to observe traditional Zambian dance ceremony. Part of the dance ceremony includes wedding, welcoming guests and local festivities. It is a unique opportunity to learn about local culture. Here you can take as many photos and videos.

After cultural village next stop is local school where you will learn about educational system of Zambia and challenges children and teachers face to provide proper education to poor students in public school. You'll be able to meet children during class lessons, talk to them, interact with teachers, ask questions.

After school you'll have an opportunity to taste local food in the village and have a walk around the village and meet locals.

Return back to your hotel for the last evening safari game drive.

The following day you'll be checked out from your lodge and transferred to the airport for departure.

Please note that air fare to Luangwa and out of Luangwa not included in this package. You can either fly from Lusaka to South Luangwa (please check availability of the flight), or, if you are in Malawi you can enter South Luangwa by car (optional)

Day 4: Departure from South Luangwa

Stop At: South Luangwa National Park, Mpika Zambia
This will conclude your 4 days and 3 nights at South Luangwa National Park. Depends on your departure time you can stay at the lodge before transfer to the airport.
