Your tour starts around 8:30am with pickup and briefing from your accommodation in Swakopmund or Walvis Bay. At 9am, depart towards Usakos, a small mining village near the Spitzkoppe. Driving inland will provide many opportunities for photos, where you'll stop to view this unique landscape.
Arrive at Spitzkoppe and learn some interesting facts about the geology of the mountain and the fauna and flora of the area. You will now have some free time to walk or climb some of the peaks or take the opportunity to visit some ancient bushman rock art. With the local guides knowledge of the artwork, you are certain to enjoy this part of the tour.
Around 12pm you'll enjoy a delicious lunch which includes soft drinks, juice, water, beer, sparkling wine, finger snacks and a local dessert. Enjoy all of this with a great view of the Spitzkoppe!
After lunch, depart Spitzkoppe and head on toward Usakos where you'll have the opportunity to stop for a few photos of the scenery and browse the local semi precious stone market. From here we head further into the arid area towards the Moon Landscape. Its 500 million year old rock formations are something spectacular to behold. We stop and the best viewpoints for some photographs before we start our return journey to you accommodation.
At 4:30pm, your tour will conclude back in your accommodation and we say our good-byes until the next time.
