Stop At: Srebrenica Genocide Memorial, Potocari, Srebrenica 75430 Bosnia and Herzegovina

The most important part of our Srebrenica Genocide tour is the visit to Memorial Center "Potocari" in Srebrenica. Before we visit the museum complex, we will see a huge cemetery where all Srebrenica victoms have been barried. This cemetery, together with a memorial and museum is part of the Foundation “Srebrenica-Potocari” established by the decision of the High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch in 2001 in memory of all the victims of Srebrenica Genocide.

The memorial was officially opened by former US President, Bill Clinton in 2003 as a . From that year, there were successive burials of hundreds of victims every year. The atrocity was on such a massive scale that victims are still being disinterred from mass graves in the area and barried.
