Pick up can also be arranged from the Rodney Bay Marina or hotels with a dock, for those visitors staying longer on this beautiful island. All tours are customised to each group, but typically include a leisurely cruise down the west coast of St. Lucia, an area of outstanding natural beauty, to Soufriere and the majestic twin Piton mountains (a world heritage site). The experienced and friendly guide will point out interesting sites along the way including the picturesque Marigot Bay, the charming fishing villages of Anse La Raye and Canaries, the Tunnel of Love, the bat cave and various beaches and coves.
Once in Soufriere, many guests choose to snorkel or swim in the marine reserve and spend some beach time at Sugar Beach and / or Anse Chastanet. There are three good snorkel sites down the coast and as the tour is private, the time at one or all three of these is flexible. Snorkel year is provided.
Some guests like to take an optional shore excursion once in Soufriere to visit the Drive-In Volcano / Sulphur Springs and a Piton waterfall. There are other popular options for the land tour including the Botanical Gardens, Tet Paul hiking trail, Jerusalem and Toraille Waterfall. The taxi is arranged to pick up guests from the dock in Soufriere and our guide accompanies the guests. The taxi is payable direct by guests ($40 USD for 1-4 persons and $10 USD for each additional passenger) and there are some small local entrance fees.
A well-stocked cooler with beer, water and soft drinks is available to guests throughout the tour. Lunch is not included but a good local and inexpensive Creole restaurant on the Soufriere waterfront can be recommended.
On the way back up the coast, a stop can be made in Marigot Bay, described as "The most beautiful bay in the Caribbean", at one of the waterfront bars or restaurants, before returning to the cruise ship terminal or Rodney Bay.
