Old Town Medina--Tangier's medina is a labyrinth of narrow streets full of quaint surprises, only to be discovered when led by a local. Spend a relaxing time sipping tea in the central square, the Petit Socco. See the Church of Immaculate Conception, built by the Spanish in 1880, the Grand Mosque, the Old America Legation (hosts the letter written from George Washington to Moulay Abdullah), the local community ovens, the Kasbah and its museum or the Ville Nouvelle's (new city) stunning ocean view that has captivated many artists.
