Tarcoles river plus Canopy Vistas los sueños

The tour will be start at 8:00am, we pick you up from the hotel

First we are gonna start with the tarcoles river famous for its large American Crocodiles, the Tárcoles River forms the Northern border of Carara Biological Reserve on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica., and after that we are gonna do the canopy on Vista de los sueños You'll feel like Tarzan (or Jane!) as you zip through Costa Rica's canopy. This canopy tour has 11 platforms, 2 hanging bridges and 8 platforms. The entire property covers 900 acres of which 80% is rain forest! This combination of nature and adrenaline will make for an unforgettable memory of Costa Rica!

The Tárcoles is full of crocodiles, scarlet macaws, Jesus Christ lizards, and over 120 species of birds.

Then we glide along this placid river with our naturalist guide, who describes the birds, animals, and habitat in great detail. After visiting the river mouth, we venture up a mature mangrove area, where we stop to learn about this remarkable ecosystem.

Return upstream to the native botanic garden, where your guide explains more about the native plant species of this transitional habitat.

This half-day, educational tour is designed for you to experience, photograph, and learn about the native wildlife.

The lush rain forest feeling will be part of your scenic one-hour drive from the pier to a private reserve. Along the way, your guide will point out mango, sugar and citrus plantations and farming communities. Your expectations of the Costa Rican rain forest will be fulfilled as you learn about the advances that farmers have made in delivering fresh produce and no doubt appreciate that when you return home to your local food stores.

Upon your arrival to the reserve, you can freshen up and explore before you begin your treetop journey. In the famous Turubari Park you will be escorted to a series of zip lines that have been designed to cause no harm to the environment while still providing extreme fun and excellent views of the Tarcoles River.
