Taxco and Cuernavaca

We will travel to "the City of Eternal Spring" that is how Cuernavaca is known, where we will visit its Cathedral, one of the oldest in Mexico, we will take a panoramic tour of the Palace of Cortes. We will continue to the Magical Town of Taxco, in the state of Guerrero. There you can see the impressive church of Santa Prisca, an important Catholic temple built with pink quarry, We will finish the tour with a visit to a craft center silversmith.

It is the headquarters of the Cuauhnahuac Regional Museum, it was sent to build by Hernan Cortes and erected on the Tlatlocayacalli, where tribute was paid to the Tlahuica caciques.

Stop At: Santa Prisca de Taxco, Plaza Borda, Taxco Mexico

Elaborated in pink quarry, its construction was commissioned by the richest miner of the colonial era in Mexico, José de la Borda.
