Itinerary
Meet your guide at the taxi station of Pigadia early in the morning at 8am. We start at this hour to avoid the summer-heat.
This adventure leads you just outside of the city of Pigadia, following the path to the Agia Kyriaki chapel. You walk passed old stavlos and olive fields while overlooking the Aegean sea and spotting all the Southern villages while you reach the higher part of the walk.
The Agia Kyriaki chapel is open for a visit and offers a great set-up for a break in the shade. Passing through the pine tree forest, you find several lovely views of the Eastern coast by Pigadia unfolding right in front of you.
Once leaving the pine tree forest path you will find yourself back in Pigadia around 11:30am.
The guide stops frequently for photo opportunities and the walking pace is not high. The walk takes about 3,5 hours. It is a challenging walk, with a steep ascent or descent.
