The Best of Maramures in One Day

In a single day you will see famous landmarks (like the Merry Cemetery, Barsana and Sapanta-Peri monasteries or the Memorial Museum from Sighet) but also places off the beaten path: a local market, little known artisans, the group of unique water mills (including the only water powered fulling and carding mills from Europe still in working condition and daily use for local community needs, without any museum or tourist purposes), the last medieval hay fields and meet the local self sufficient farmers.

The tour is designed for 2-4 people, but singles are welcome (supplement charge).

The tallest wooden church in the world: 75 metres. Admission free but donations are welcomed.
