Truly a city like no other, Yangon boasts an eclectic mix of cultures and history. For people in Yangon today, life revolves around food, fashion, the arts, and nightlife. Take some time to connect with the city, its people and their passions with this ‘local’s look’ at Yangon.
We start with a stroll around in a colorful morning street market before exploring Musmeah Yeshua Synagogue, one of the holiest places in Yangon.

Followed by a visit to Bogyoke Market where you can wander and mingle with locals.

Journey down to Yangon General Train Station to enjoy the slow ride of Yangon circular train. As the train move, you should be ready for picturesque scenes. You may notice so many locals on board and hawkers will be selling local snacks or fruits.

In the afternoon, we enjoy the delicious lunch at the local dining restaurant. Afterward, we resume our tour with a colonial walk in downtown Yangon.

Of course, no historical tour would not be completed without a Secretariat office, where you have a chance to learn the important history of Myanmar.

By then, why not hit the road to Chauk Htet Gyi Reclining Buddha to learn more about the life story of the Buddha
