Day 1: Desert tour with a night in tents From Djerba : Visit Tataouine - Chenini - Ksar Ghilane and Matmata

Stop At: Chahbania, neffatia, Tunisia
Photo stop at the famous salt lake of Chahbania. This chott is famous, like Chott Djerid, for the phenomenon of mirages. (in winter it will be rather full of water)

Stop At: Chenini, Tataouine Tunisia
Visit of the Berber village of Chenini with these different components: oil mill, attic, houses, mosque (from the outside) ... etc. A hike of about 40 minutes during which you will discover a lot about Berbers in Tunisia and their history and culture

Stop At: Ksar Ghilane, Ksar Ghilane, Kebili Governorate
Arrival at the oasis of Ksar Ghilane, this paradise where the greenery of the palm groves embraces the ocher color of the sand dunes! Enjoy a swim in the hot spring.
Once there, you will have the possibility to book a camel or quad ride in the dunes (extra and to be paid on site)

Your first stop will be at a second hot spring, located in the middle of nowhere and with a water temperature that exceeds 45 °

Stop At: Tamezret, Tunisia
In the village of Tamazret, you will be entitled to a technical stop (sanitary / coffee). On the roof of the cafe you have a pretty terrace if you want to take a picture of the Berber village or the panoramic view!

Stop At: Maison Troglodyte, HXHJ+R5P, Tijma, Tunisia
Head to ancient Matmata where people still live in cave houses dug vertically under the earth! Your hosts, a Berber family, will open the door for you to discover this unique monument ... to see more closely and take photos. At home, they will be happy to offer you a good glass of rosemary tea, served with olive oil and honey. Before leaving, don't hesitate to thank them (this will always make them happy and help them)

You will visit this hotel, where several scenes of Star Wars were filmed! Enjoy the adventure and close your eyes to imagine George Lucas spinning or Sky Walker eating in the same place you are!

A photo stop in front of the Berber village of Toujane during which your guide will explain more about the Berber tribes ... why they chose these hard-to-live places and what changes have they undergone since!
