The main boulevard in Sarajevo which during the Siege of Sarajevo was lined with snipers' posts, and became infamous as a dangerous place for civilians to traverse.

Experience a brief walk through the Tunnel of Hope after watching a short video showing the Siege of Sarajevo, and a guided tour of the grounds, and the home (now a museum) where the tunnel was hidden.

Stop At: Sarajevo Olympic Bobsleigh and Luge Track, Apelova Cesta, Sarajevo Bosnia and Herzegovina
After the Tunnel, we will visit the Olympic mountain Trebević, which hosted Winter Olympic games in Sarajevo and was a first line during the Siege of Sarajevo. On the mountain Trebević we have the opportunity to see and walk on the Bobsleigh and Luge Track which is now one of the most beautiful abandoned places in Sarajevo. The best view of the city is from this mountain so you can experience the most beautiful panoramic view of Sarajevo.

Stop At: Jewish Cemetery Sarajevo, Gabrielle Moreno Locatelli, Sarajevo 71000 Bosnia and Herzegovina
During the conflict, the cemetery was among the many front lines utilized to maintain the brutal siege of the city. Bosnian Serb Army snipers used its strategic position, overlooking much of the city “to shoot at civilians in the city.” Many of the beautiful tombstones, unique in both Sarajevo and Europe, were damaged by the fighting, their elegant structures compromised by three years of heavy shelling and indiscriminate shooting.

Stop At: The Yellow Fortress, Sarajevo 71000 Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Yellow Fortress is one of the fortifications that made up the defensive wall around the city. Today, it offers a fantastic view of the city and is one of Sarajevo’s most popular vantage points. From here we can also see Kovači Cemetery where Sarajevo's defenders from the Siege of Sarajevo and the first president of the independent Bosnia and Herzegovina are buried.
