Things to Do in Santana

We start the excursion towards the village of Camacha for a visit to the Craft Factory and the Wicker Bazaar. Then, we climb the Poiso towards the Pico do Arieiro (1810 meters), being this the third highest peak of the Island of Madeira. We descend to Ribeiro Frio where you can visit a trout nursery as well as admire an important part of the Laurissilva Forest of Madeira (world heritage). We continue to Santana, known for its famous Casas de Colmo. Stop for lunch (not included). After lunch, we cross the Porto da Cruz area and continue to Ponta de São Lourenço. At a last stop, we make a brief visit to Pico do Facho from where we can observe the city of Machico and Ponta de São Lourenço.
