Visit the distant temples of Koh Ker and Beng Mealea
In the morning you can enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before starting the tour. French guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and then take you to visit the most beautiful World Heritage sites: the site of Koh Ker. It was the ancient capital of the Khmer empire of the 10th century. You will take a road to the Koh Ker temple through the typical Khmer countryside (120 km from Siem Reap). There is a lot to see in 2.5 hours by car as it takes you through many lively villages and rice fields. Discover the abandoned temples in the forest of northern Cambodia. Your day is dedicated to the Pyramid temple of Koh Ker, dated since 10th century was built by King Jayavarman IV in 928 to 942. You will visit the temple complex of Koh Ker as: Prasat Pram, Prasat Kra Cham, Prasat Neang Kmao, Prasat Damrei and Prasat Thom (Koh Ker). Koh Ker's 10th century temple was a prolific period for gigantic sculpture and many of the most impressive pieces in the National Museum of Phnom Penh come from Koh Ker.

Stop At: Beng Mealea, 40 km east of Angkor Wat Cambodia
In the afternoon, you will have a break for lunch in a restaurant
After the meal and a moment of rest, on the way back, you will continue the visit to the temple of Beng Mealea (60 km from Siem Reap and 45 minutes drive from Koh Ker). You contemplate an authentic Cambodian countryside lined with kms of rice fields crossing a multitude of typical village. The Beng Mealea Temple was built by King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century abandoned in the forests of northern Cambodia, it is never restored.
