Tour History and Flavors of Ecuador

This is a custom made program, you choose the time to spend on each site and the time to get back to your Hotel !!

We will explore the Historic Centre of Quito built in the 1,500 hundreds,  the first Unesco Site in 1978 in the world,  visit the Independence Square where the Presidential Palace, Catedral and City Hall are, we will visit the Compania de Jesus church and then the Panecillo home of our 42 meter aluminum Virgen, the Basilica, one of the largest churches in the continent. 

You can decide your favorite treats that are included on this program: fair trade organic coffee or tea.

Quesadillas or quimbolitos, tamales or humitas, a natural juices made at the moment with any fruit of your choice, empanadas and the aromatic Canelazo, Ecuadorian chocolate and a local fruits and vegetable market. 

Pick up at your Hotel at 9:00am, we will drive to the Historic Centre where we will park and then walk the old streets of the city, visit the magnificent San Francisco Church, the oldest in the country, then the Independence Square, Presidential Palace, Catedral of  Quito, City Hall, Bishops Palace  followed by a dark chocolate tasting with exotic combinations ,  we will also visit a local Coffee shop where you can choose your favorite coffee cup or tea made of local organic beans.

We will then walk to La Ronda Street, the oldest in town, we will drive after to the Panecillo, for impressive views of Quito, we will taste the local Ëmpanadas, tamales and other treats, also our traditional hot drink called "Canelazo"made of local fruit and species.

We will continue our journey to visit the Basilica de Quito Gothic Style church  where you can climb the towers for great views.

We will then visit a local Farmers Market for our fruit tasting,  you will discover unique aromas and flavors.

At the end of the afternoon, we will drive back to your Hotel in the city. 

Since our programs are customized, you decide the time that you would like to be back at the Hotel as well as the time you would like to spend on each site to be visited.
