First of all, you will stop at the picturesque Lake Sevan with its crystal clear water and stunning historic peninsula which is home of medieval monastery Sevanavank. Nicknamed the ‘Blue Pearl’ this magnificent lake is the jewel of Armenia. The Wonderful Lake that surrounds the peninsula of Sevan and Sevanavank is one of the most beautiful places in Europe.

Stop At: Dilijan National Park, Dilijan Armenia
Driving about 90 kilometres to the northeast of Armenia's vibrant capital city of Yerevan, the highway narrows into mountainous roads as you enter the Tavush region. Your second stop is the old charming town Dilijan. The unseasonably hot and humid summer has vacationers flocking to "Armenia's Switzerland" from across Armenia and bordering Georgia, Russia and Iran, as well as from various parts of Europe. They come seeking what affluent folks of Transcaucasia sought when they built their summer villas here -- the crisp, alpine mountain air of unspoiled forests, preserved national park and lakes and to bask in the natural healing springs. In fact, Dilijan mineral water is bottled and marketed throughout the country.

Stop At: Lake Parz, Dilijan National Park, Dilijan Armenia
Then continue the tour through forests to incredible lake Parz to take panoramic photos of the gorgeous landscape at a height of 1,400 metres above sea level.
Dilijan is the best sunset spot in Tavush region and a perfect place to finish the tour before heading back to Yerevan.
