Tour to Machu Picchu by Bus with Overnight

This offer is the most economic option in Peru to enjoy the Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley of The Incas experience to the fullest. This small-group journey through Santa Teresa, Hidroelectrica, Aguas Calientes and eventually Machu Picchu will  guide you to conect with the essence of  the Andes. The basics needs of any traveller; food, lodging, transportation, and insights of the Imperial Culture of the Inca are provided in this Tour.

Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco - Santa Teresa - Hidroelectrica - Aguas Caliente - Machu Picchu

Pass By: Cusco Cathedral, Portal Belen Plaza de Armas, Cusco 08002 Peru
We will pick you up at 7:30am and start at 8:00am from Cusco and go through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. During the journey we will appreciate different villages and climate change from the Andes to the tropical sites. We will come to Santa Teresa where we enjoy a typical Peruvian lunch, then continue the tour to Hidroelectrica, arriving there at 3:00pm. Next, we will walk for 3 hours and arrive in Machu Picchu town, where we settle in the hostel with private bathrooms and hot water. It is also optional in the evening to go to the hot springs.

Day 2: MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO

Pass By: Hot Springs (Aguas Calientes), Signposted from main square, Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu Peru
This time we will get up around 4:00am and leave at 4:30am, heading toward the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, walking approximately 1 hour and a half. The goal is to see the sunrise from the Inca site and be the first to arrive. Then we will take in the beautiful Machu Picchu with our professional guide, finishing the tour with some free time for you to explore the site. 

Note: There is a possibility to spend one more night in Aguas Calientes paying an extra $30, and returning next day.
