Tour to Otavalo Cotacachi Cuicocha Peguche

This is a Private Full Day Program, you will see the amazing "Sierra"  Ecuadorian Andean Landscape, you will visit the Middle of the World site "Quitsato", here you can stand one foot in the northern and one foot in the southern hemisphere.

Enjoy the visit to the Otavalo Market, home of the most colorful in Ecuador and the largest indigenous markets in South America.

You have also the option to visit Cuicocha Crater Lake, Peguche Waterfall, the leather town of Cotacachi or

the Wood Carving town of San Antonio de Ibarra, or if you would like to see the Andean Condor and other birds of pray.

During this day you choose the sites to be visited and the time you would like to spend on it and the time to back at your Hotel in the city, you build your own day!!

Pick up at your Hotel  at 8:30 am, we will drive east of Quito, through the valleys of Cumbaya Tumbaco, Puembo & Pifo, with awesome views of the  amazing “Sierra” Ecuadorian landscapes  towards the Cayambe Volcano, we will then stop at Quitsato, Middle of The World Site O’O”O””, here you can stand with one foot in the northern and one foot in the southern hemisphere, for information visit: www.quitsato.org .

Then we will reach Otavalo the most colourful market of Ecuador and one of the largest Indigenous markets in South America.  

The Otavalo Market is famous for their traditional tapestries, woollens and other handicrafts; the Otavalo indigenous community have been the most skilled weavers since the pre-colonial time.

 From here we can visit the following options:
• Cotacachi : This town is famous for its fine leather work
• Cuicocha Crater Lake, this stunning Crater Lake is one of the most beautiful in the Nation.
• Peguche Waterfalls.
• Condor Park: Rescue and Rehabilitation Center for birds of Pray, you can see here the Andean Condor ( $ 4.5 p/person) Open from Wednesday to Sunday, Flying Show at 11:30 or 3:30 pm.
• We can also visit : Master Weaver, Musical Instruments Maker, Wood Carving Village.
