Two-day essence tour in Shilin Jiuxiang and Xishan in Kunming

The driver and tour guide will pick you up from hotel and you will visit the  home town for Ashima (Sani is  one branch of minority group Yi: and Ashima is unmarried young girl name for Sani) : “Forest Hill” is  covered with numerous stone peaks with various sizes and shapes ; and taste the Yi’s local food: Roast Duck. You should be quite satisfied with the unique scene and excellent food you have. The next, you will be taken to the movie photographic scene by Jackie Chen in Movie “Myth”: Jiuxiang Karst Cave, the most magnificent and largest cave across china. You will marvel at the magnificent cave you have visited. And on the second day you will have a bird-view on Dianchi and City Kunming from western lake. The last you will visit the most noisy markets but in the most ancient style in city Kunming. The tour includes both magnificent landscape and cultural relics, exciting and adventurous. 

Day 1: You are supposed to meet your private guide and driver at hotel lobby at around 9am. On the way driving to Yiliang, tour guide will give you a very professional detail on the hot spot you are supposed to see. After 1.5 to 2 hours, you will see the Stone Forest . The stone forest is marveled by numerous stone peaks with various sizes and shapes. Hence it is the reason that this magnificent scene has earned its name  as the "First Wonder Under Heaven."

This area is also home to Ashima. (“Ashima”  is a name appointed to unmarried young girls of  Sani who is one branch of Chinese Yi ethnic minority.）After that you will walk into Sani Villages with your guide. The village is located by Stone Forest Lake, where makes it possible for you to acquaint with their folk songs and dances.You will have 2 hour visiting time in this area, and then enjoy the local special “roasted duck” of  ethnic Yi.  In the afternoon, You will depart for Yiliang County to visit the famous Jiuxiang Karst Cave. It will take 1 hour drive. The cave group is the largest and the most magical across China. You need to descend into the Jiuxiang Karst Cave by elevator to see the 52-meter depth cave for exploring the magnificent underground world. Then, take the cable car back to its entrance.

The visiting time to this area is from 1.5 to 2 hours. Then you will have a 2 hour trip back hotel and arrive at hotel around 7pm.

Day 2:

The tour guide and driver will pick you up from hotel at 9am. After 40 minutes’ drive, You will be taken to the foot of western lake. Then transfer to Shuttle for 15 minutes’ and take another 15 minutes’ cable car for bird viewing the whole 400 square-meter  Dianchi and city kunming. The west hills overlook west bank of Dianchi lake. The whole mountain is fully-covered with evergreen forest and stretches over 25 miles (40 kilometers), with its highest peak over 8,200 feet (2,500 meters) above sea level. You will climb up to visit Dragon Gate for a panoramic view of Kunming city. In here you might visit the spectacular Dragon Gate temple, it was made by burrowed solid rock by a Daoist monk and his followers between 1781 and 1853.The all-over vertiginous grottos, corridors, sculptures, and pavilions in western lake form a fantastic view across Dianchi Lake.Then you will foot down, take the scooter back the shuttle bus, then from the shuttle bus back your car. 

After lunch you will visit the famous flower and bird market which offer good price for shopping.

Archway jinmabiji is located on the two roads( “Road Sanshi” and “Biji”) crossing  with a height 12 meter and a width 18 meter with a history over 400 years. And Nanping street is a noisy market with ancient-style architect in Kunming.

After the visit of old-style noisy market in kunming, you will be sent back hotel  in Kunming.
