Barong dance is the classic example of Balinese way of acting out mythology, resulting in myth and history being blended into one reality. The barong is a strange creature, half shaggy dog, half lion, propelles by two men like a circus clown-horse. The widow-witch rangda is bad though and certainly not the sort of thing you'd like to meet on a midnight stroll through the rice paddies. The barong dance is truly a triumphant display of bright colors and graceful movements.

Tirta Empul Temple is a holy spring water temple located in Tampaksiring Village, it is about 1 hour ride from Denpasar city. It is set in the dale and encircled by hill. Tirta Empul is meaning the water emerge or the holy pool which is the water emerge from the land.

This place has been opened for public and as a famous tourist destination in Bali.
