Day 1 - Delhi / Agra
This morning, you will be picked up at your hotel in Delhi and driven to Agra (about 5 hours). Upon arrival, check into your hotel. This afternoon, visit the Agra Fort with its battlements, apartments, gardens and audience halls. This fortress built of red sandstone, was the imperial city of the Mughal rulers. You will then visit the magnificent Taj Mahal often thought of as a “Monument to Love”. Emperor Shah Jahan built this monument in memory of his favorite wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum of beautiful white marble with inlaid precious stones. As you tour the famed landmark you will have an opportunity to witness the monument bathed in the warm glow of sunset. (Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays)

Day 2 - Agra / Fatehpur Sikri / Jaipur
After breakfast, check out and then visit the abandoned Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri. This amazing city was built by Akbar the Great. You will then drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check into your hotel.

Day 3 - Jaipur
This morning, visit the Amber Fort, a sprawling complex that combines fortifications with unexpected architectural and artistic beauty. When you arrive, you will take a 4WD jeep up to the front gate. The Fort was built in 1592 of red sandstone and marble. The simple and protective outer walls betray the surprising beauty of the interior rooms. The Fort has influences of both Hindu and Muslim architecture. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided city tour of Jaipur. Visit Hawa Mahal, also known as the "Palace of Winds". Continue on to the City Palace, with its latticed balconies, cupolas, courtyards and arched entrances. A stop will be made at the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observation site built in the early 18th century. It was used by medieval scholars to study and measure the positions of the stars, sun and planets.

Day 4 - Jaipur / Delhi
After breakfast, check out of your hotel in Jaipur and you will be driven back to Delhi. (B)
