Uxmal was one of the most important cities of the Mayan culture, known as "The three times built", it is located in a zone of hills called Puuc, which breaks the monotony of the Yucatan plain. It is the most important city in the area because it had 20,000 inhabitants in its splendor. It is made up of 15 groups of buildings that cover about 2km, highlighting the Pyramid of the Adivino (35 meters high), the Quadrangle of the Nuns and the Governor's Palace.

After Uxmal, which is the largest religious center in the Puuc region. A Sacbe or white road (in Mayan language) connected Kabah with Uxmal. The area covers an area of 1.2 square kilometers and is surrounded by mounds that, it is estimated, may be constructions that have not yet been explored.

Start your day with pickup at Merida Hotel to the archaeological zone of Uxmal, which has particular characteristics that make it different from the other finds in the Mayan zone, such as the architectural style and the layout of the buildings, located the observation of astronomical phenomena such as the movement of the planet Venus and taking advantage of the land to build chultunes (cisterns built ingeniously to store water, since in this area there are no cenotes).

Continue to Kabah and visit the building Codz Pop (rolled sphere) is covered between its facades by two separate masks in honor of God Chaac, while the eastern front is decorated with lattices and anthropomorphic sculptures representing the King of Kabah.

To conclude, you will visit the restaurant to eat and return to Mérida around 5:00 p.m.
