The “Flight of Angels” is an amazing journey over the 1700m vast curtain of water known locally as the “Mosi oa Tunya” (the smoke that thunders) and along the Zambezi River and the Zambezi National Park. The 12 to 13 minute flight is the most popular helicopter flight in Victoria Falls. This helicopter flight takes off from the helicopter pad and heads straight for the magnificent Victoria Falls. The pilot will complete left and right hand orbits over Victoria Falls. This allows passengers on both sides of the helicopter fantastic views of Victoria Falls. The helicopter then heads upstream and over Zambezi National Park before landing.

The 25 to 27 minute helicopter flight is similar to the 12 to 13 minute flight. You will fly directly toward Victoria Falls. Instead of flying upriver though, your journey continues downstream and follows the dramatic Batoka Gorge. Once you have taken in the glamorous views of the gorge you will head back over Victoria Falls. Your flight will continue farther up the Zambezi River and over Zambezi National Park. This will allow you opportunities to view game from a very different perspective.
