Vietnam Culture Trip in 9 Days

A nine days journey that gives you a glimpse of Vietnam from North to South. The trip covers vibrant cities, cruising on turquoise waters, local life experience and home stay with local host family in the Mekong Delta.

 The trip is an ideal cultural experience for travelers who wish to combine the highlights as well as some off the beaten track experience, getting closer to local life to know Vietnamese people, their traditions, culture and cuisine in the most authentic way!

DAY 1: WELCOME TO VIETNAM - HANOI ARRIVAL

Upon arrival our driver will meet you at the airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. 

DAY 2: HANOI SIGHTSEEING GROUP TOUR (B/L)

Your guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at 08:00 am. Your city tour will take you to Hanoi’s key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and stilt house), the Presidential Palace, One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, West Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple. After the lunch you will visit one of the city’s museums. 

DAY 3: HALONG BAY CRUISE (B/L/D) – SHARING CRUISE

Our guide and shuttle bus will pick you up at hotel lobby around 7:30. On arrival you will board on cruise and spend full day cruising the bay’s 3000 magnificent limestone islets, kayaking and swimming. In the evening you could take part in cooking lesson and squid fishing.

DAY 4: WAKE UP WITH THE DRAGON IN THE BAY (B/L)

Rise early for a Tai Chi lesson or just to enjoy the breakfast. The boat will make its way back to the port stopping at the Cave of Surprises, full of stalagmites and stalactites. You will arrive back to Hanoi around 4:30-17:00 pm. 

DAY 5: TRAVEL FROM TRANQUIL HANOI TO VIBRANT HO CHI MINH CITY (B)

After breakfast, our driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel, the rest of the day is free for leisure and shopping.

DAY 6: DISCOVER THE MIGHTY MEKONG DELTA  (B/L/D) – GROUP TOUR

Leave Saigon for My Tho, located on the bank of the Mekong River to visit a large market. There you will visit a local market, have a boat trip through the maze of small canals of Mekong River and visit an orchard on an island, with lunch en route. Continue with a visit to a snake farm and then continue driving to Can Tho for overnight.

DAY 7: FASCINATING MEKONG LIFESTYLE (B/L)

Today will begin with an early breakfast and boat trip to the Floating Market after. There you will watch the locals sit aboard their small boats selling and exchanging goods. On the way back to Saigon, we will visit Dong Tam Snakes Farm.

DAY 8: EXPLORE THE MYSTERIOUS CU CHI TUNNELS

Have breakfast and check-out from the hotel. Depart for Cu Chi tunnels at 8:00 am. There you will explore the underground system of tunnels, will learn how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. You will be back to Ho Chi Minh around 14:00.

DAY 9: TIME TO SAY GOODBYE - HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE (B)

Breakfast at hotel, Free at leisure until transferring to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your departure flight. End of the trip.
