Stop At: The Great Wall at Badaling, Badaling, Yanqing District, Beijing 102112 China
Badaling Great Wall located in Yanqing County is the best preserved section of Great Wall in China. Almost 80 kilometers northwest from downtown Beijing, the Wall was built in Ming Dynasty(1505) occupying a commanding and strategic position for protecting the Juyongguan Pass ( Juyongguan section of the Great Wall ) on its south, further protecting the city of Beijing. Badaling is an ancient military defense project. In 1987, the wall was listed by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site. It takes about 1.5 hours to get to the Great Wall from the downtown.
Visit scenic spots: Badaling Geat Wall, Badaling fortress, beacon-towers, "looking-toward beijing stone", etc.
Optional activity (extra charge) : you can choose to take cable car to get to the highest point to have a bird-eye view.

Summer Palace is the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China. It is a blend of natural scenery and artificial landscape. The mountains, waters and architecture together form picturesque scenes that are amazingly beautiful. UNESCO declared the Summer Palace “a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design".
Visit scenic spots: 1. East palace gate, 2. the hall of benevolence and longevity, 3. hall of jade billows, 4. the hall of joyful longevity, 5. the covered walkway, 6. the marble boat, etc.
