The archaeological excavations of Herculaneum have returned the remains of the ancient residential city, buried under a blanket of lava, ash, lapilli and mud during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79, together with Pompeii, Stabia and Oplonti. A professional private guide is highly recommended to better visit in detail and relax in its most important structures. The archaeological excavations of Herculaneum have returned the remains of the ancient city of Herculaneum, buried under a blanket of lava, ash, lapilli and mud during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79, together with Pompeii, Stabia and Oplonti. On request it is also possible a 1 hour lunch break for a pizza, or in a famous family house to taste a set Menu (all inclusive) with traditional local food, drinks, wine, dessert.
A 2-hour visit is scheduled
