Volterra and Bolgheri from Piombino Port

From Piombino Port (and surroundings) we will spend a wonderful day away from big crowds. We will visit 3 wonderful areas in Tuscany, Volterra, Bolgheri and Populonia. This is a great tour to have an introduction to our history and culture, enjoying amazing scenarios and countryside. Upon request you might opt for a visit to a winery for wine tastings.

Stop At: Volterra, Volterra, Province of Pisa, Tuscany

We will drive to the ancient village of Volterra, in the Tuscan countryside where you will have time to explore it, shopping in the famous Alabaster shops, leather and more! Walk the narrow streets of this enchanting village to admire its incredible architecture. A must when visiting Tuscany!

Stop At: Bolgheri, Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci, Province of Livorno, Tuscany

From Volterra we will drive to Bolgheri where we will stop for lunch in one of the local restaurants. Bolgheri is one of the smallest villages you will ever see but with unique charm. Try the famous Bolgheri wines, some of the best in the World. You will love it!

Stop At: Populonia, Populonia, Piombino, Province of Livorno, Tuscany

On the way back to Piombino, we will stop in Populonia, one of the most important villages of the Etruscan civilisation that lived in that area almost 3000 years ago. Take a picture of the castle and the stunning views of the Tuscan coast.
