Choquequirao, in Quechua language means "Cradle of Gold". One of the most beautiful adventure walks, since they know one of the last Inca bastions, tells that, like the citadel of Machu Picchu, this fortress must have been the political, religious and social center of the Inca culture. It is a tour of great physical demand, since you usually walk an average of 6 hours a day, for which it is required that visitors have good physical conditions and are accustomed. The route has different nuances, as for the landscape, you can see the wonderfulness of the Apurimac canyon, pass through several villages of the route such as Cachora and Chiquisca where we will have the opportunity to share a little with the residents about their way of life and customs . Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco- Cachora - Chiquisca

Stop At: Cachora, Cachora, Apurimac Region
Very early our guide will pick you up at the hotel, we will leave by private bus to the city of Cachora.
After 03h30 they arrive at the starting point where the muleteer and the mules await us to start the walk.
After 02 hrs., We will arrive at Abra Capuliyoc which is located at 2800 meters above sea level, from this place we will observe the incredible Apurimac Valley. Lunch time
Then they will continue the walk and descend approx. 03hrs to reach the place called Chiquisca, where the first camp awaits you, dinner.

Accommodation included: Night camping, in the Chiquisca sector.

Day 2: Chiquisca - Rosalina Beach - Choquequirao

Stop At: Choquequirao, Peru
Breakfast very early, we will descend to La Playa Rosalina (1550m / 5085f).
From there, we will continue towards Marampata (2850m / 9350f), where we will have a beautiful view of the archaeological complex of Choquequirao (3033m / 9951f). Lunch and short rest.
Then they continue the walk to Raqaypata, they will arrive just in time to enjoy the incredible sunset in the snowy peaks before a delicious dinner and a well-deserved rest in our camp (3000).

• Lunch: En route to Choquequirao
• Dinner: Dinner at camp located in the Raqaypata sector
Accommodation included: Camping night in the Raqaypata sector

Day 3: Visit Choquequirao - Return to Chiquisca

Stop At: Choquequirao, Peru
Breakfast, then you will go to the highest part to appreciate the sunrise. Here you will observe the first visit to the archaeological site of Choquequirao.
In this archaeological monument, the central square stands out, which is defined by constructions of different uses, such as ceremonial places, housing and the infallible platforms for crops.
You can also observe the temples of the Sun and the Earth, royal residences, rest rooms and residences for farmers.
After this wonderful experience, the road is taken again along the same route that took us to Choquequirao
After the descent you will arrive at Rosalina beach for lunch, time for a short rest, continue to the place called Chiquisca. This place will be our last camp.

Accommodation included: Third day of camping in the Chiquisca sector.

Day 4: Chiquisca- Cachora - Cusco

Stop At: Cachora, Cachora, Apurimac Region
Last breakfast at the camp
Again, they will start walking towards the town of Cachora lasting 03 hours, where they will be able to observe the diversity of flora and fauna with their different altitude and ecological floors.
Finally, they will arrive in Cachora to address the mobility that will take them back to Cusco.
Transfer to the hotel.
