In Botero Square, opposite the Museum of Antioquia, stands the Rafael Uribe Uribe Palace of Culture, notable for its Flemish Gothic or Gothic Revival style. Built in 1925 by Belgian architect Agustín Goovaerts, the palace is a national monument. It has a historical and photographic archive of the city, music library, library, art gallery and Rafael Uribe Uribe museum room, among other highlights.
