Wasini Swahili Day

You'll have a chance to sail in traditional dhow on a relaxing excursion from your accommodation around Mombasa and spend the day watching for dolphins, swimming, and snorkelling. You can dive into the water to explore coral reefs and marine wildlife. In the afternoon you will join a local chef to prepare fresh-cooked lunch followed by coffee, fruit, and sweets.later you will explore the island, you'll have time to explore mangroves, learn about a community project, or soak up the sun at the edge of a natural lagoon before returning to Mombasa

Stop At: Wasini Island, Shimoni Kenya

Arrive Shimoni village and start going for the historical slave cave tour. Get detailed information with a guide inside the huge cave.

Then head to Wasini Island Reef for a wonderful snorkeling with no time limit. See fish and colourful corals.

Go for Swahili lunch at Wasini Island. Cooked rice,fish,potatoes, fruits, pan cake,soda or water.

Go for a walk to the coral garden board walk. See old corals and mangrove forest.

After all this relax about then go to dhow boat. Put up the sail and start cruising along the shore enjoying the breeze under the latin sail with a drink and snacks. Take pictures of the surrounding view of Tanzania, sun retires changing to orange. Enjoy the sunset show cruise. When sun is down, ride back to Shimoni for the safe way back to the hotel.
